• Are any licenses required?
    • I am a licensed FAA certified UAG (part 107) pilot. Which allows me to use my drone for any commercial purposes.
    • My drone is registered by the FAA as well.
  • Are there any laws or permits required?
    • As drones have picked up in popularity there can be many laws that are in effect by organizations such as the FAA and your local city ordinances.
    • Generally they include the following:
      • 400 ft. above ground height
      • Any flying over people require that they are part of the project.
      • Many city parks require a permit be secured ahead of time where price can vary.
      • There are a multitude of airspace restrictions based on proximity to airports and other infrastructure and temporary restrictions can also be in-place based on other events.
  • How long does it take?
    • Of course each project depends on the complexity and scale. With that said, most projects require prior planning before hand, a few hours for pictures and filming, and possibly more time editing afterwards.
  • Are you insured?
    • Yes, I am insured through AIG for personal and property damage up to 2 million USD.
